Welcome to the VIPP website. On this site you will find information about the Video-feedback Intervention to promote Positive Parenting (VIPP).  The original VIPP method was developed by the Centre for Child and Family Studies at Leiden University. It was later extended by adding the component Sensitive Discipline, which lead to the current VIPP-SD method.

The Video-feedback Intervention to promote Positive Parenting and Sensitive Discipline (VIPP-SD) is a preventive intervention aimed at increasing sensitivity in parents and improving their discipline strategies, which in turn will improve parent-child interaction, improve the parent-child relationship, and prevent or decrease behavioral problems in young children.

The original preventive intervention has now also been adapted to suit different target groups. This website shows you the latest developments of the VIPP method. In addition, you can find more information about the VIPP-SD training, and how to enroll. If you have any questions, you may find your answer among the frequently asked questions (FAQ). If your answer is not there, you are welcome to contact us. (Former) participants of the VIPP-SD training have access to the secure part of this site (Members).
